America, Britain Are The Most Corrupt Countries Of The World - Falana
Don't be tempted to jump to the conclusion of the west that Nigeria is the most corrupt in the world, No! America and Britain are the most corrupt countries on earth. The Transparency International, during their evaluation said, Nigeria and Ghana are the most corrupt countries but Switzerland that warehouses all the corrupt loot in the world is not in that record.
These were the words of a radical legal luminary, Barrister Femi Falana (SAN) during a press briefing with journalists in Lagos, emphasising the fact that the West countries are using neo-colonization to control the economy of the world. Excerpts
Q: Sir, Transparency International rated Nigeria as one of the most corrupt countries of the world, what do you have to say about this?
A: As a matter of fact, all the money the armed robbers have been stealing in Nigeria since 1960 has not been up to 191 billion naira. Only one bank executive was charged for stealing N250 billion and she pledged with the government to return 194 billion; all the money stolen by armed robbers in this country is not up to that but we have been told by the ruling class aided by imperialism that everybody should mind his own business.
Nigeria has a population of over 200 million people and that is a large market in the world so they want to keep us divided so that we will be easy to rule.
Yes, Africans are corrupt but don't be tempted to jump into the conclusion of the West; America and Britain are the most corrupt countries on earth. The Transparency International tried to rank the most corrupt nations, they said Nigeria and Ghana are corrupt but Switzerland, which is the warehouse of all the proceeds of looted funds is not corrupt.
Secondly, I think that Nkrumah of Ghana was saying neo-colonialism is the last stage of imperialism? We need to start asking ourselves the questions, where does the European get the idea of fraud and money laundering, if it does not exist in their country.
Late Fela once said, if the western countries do not steal, where do they get the word fraud, looting and money laundering. They don't know what is money laundering but when they say your father is a thief, everybody will understand the language.
